The Story So Far
Long ago there was a great war which scorched the land and brought a new kind of fear to a race of mortals called man. Their fear of what was became so great that their world came reborn. Their beliefs changed greatly. Even their very genetic make-up began to make way for this new lifestyle. There's safety in order.
As things long gone will one day come once again, the sleepers awaken to begin the Dream again. For those caught in the middle, the journy is one of a lifetime. The battle, for End-World.

He stood on the hill gazing out on the horizon. The boy had always enjoyed sunsets greatly, however much the elder council had forbidden it. The stars in the sky made his heart feel light, as if it could soar away at any given moment. Silence gripped the land as the people of his village began to prepare for sleep.
The youth wondered over dreams he had had, and what they might mean. Surly they gave to sign or illusion, but if the council found out, there would no doubt be trouble shortly after. His people believed little in imagination or creativity in any form. There would be talk of demons, and they'd make sure his soul took to burn. For this, he kept such things to himself. The council was scared of nighttime dreaming, and he could never understand why.
